Club Exposure
- ORCA Youth Rugby Club had over 150 kids registered in prior seasons, and we are actively working towards getting back to these numbers and beyond.
- This is the first year the club will be expanding to the Los Angeles County Division, playing clubs in Pasadena, Santa Monica and as far south as Costa Mesa and north as Santa Maria.
- We host club events such as hikes, beach days and numerous community outreach events such as festivals and street fairs.
- We participate in events with the men’s and women’s clubs, The Outlaws.

- On social media the club has a large presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We are also in the process of relaunching our YouTube channel!
- 100’s of emails that are sent to players parents and families about upcoming events and games.
- This website is utilized to provide club updates, important information and to educate all those interested in this amazing sport.
Why Orca Rugby?
Players are attracted to rugby because of its unique character-building values. Our sport is built upon the principles of camaraderie, fair play, respect and teamwork and every player knows these principles are more important than winning or losing.
From the earliest steps in our sport, players are taught the basics of playing fair, enjoying the game and respecting the officials and opponents alike. It's also the only sport in the world were all body types and skills are required to make a truly successful team which is why Rugby is a game where passion, courage and above all teamwork is valued.
About Orca
ORCA Youth Rugby is designed to develop both beginners and experienced players of all skill levels focusing on boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14.
Our goal is to foster the growth of a club with teammates from diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds and we aim to provide our players with the necessary skills and opportunities to build a team focused on understanding and cooperation both on and off the field.
With support from Southern California Youth Rugby (SCYR) and USA Rugby, ORCA will continue to grow and expand to educate Ventura’s youth in the amazing sport know and RUGBY!
We are a federally recognized 501(c)3 tax exempt charitable organization, so your donation is 100% tax deductible!
We are self-funded through player dues, fundraisers and business sponsorships.
